Hey, I’m Ryan, founder of Northman Creative. I moved to Nashville in 2013 and have been capturing stories through photo and video ever since.

It all started in high school when I bought my first camera and made family vacation recaps, then somehow roped my little brother into starring in a Lord of the Rings parody that summer.

I’ve found the most meaning in documentary work, collaborating with people to tell real stories and preserve moments that matter. That passion led to my first feature-length film, Thistle, which follows a Nashville justice enterprise redefining recovery for women survivors of trafficking and addiction.
